St. Mary's Church

From the beginning of 1960’s, Syrian Catholics from various places began to settle at Taliparamba for various purpose like education, employment and mercantile. At that time they went to Thrichabaran St Paul’s Church and Pushpagiri CMI Church for their religious purposes. On Dec 25 1990, St Mary’s Parish took birth under the Tellicherry Archdiocese. Their dream came true when the foundation stone for the church laid on 2008 August 15. On April 14, 2012 the church was opened for the believers by the function presided by Rev: Mar George Valyamattam Metropolitan. On 2013 March 17 he declared the church as a Forane Church and a pilgrim centre.
